Return & Refund Policy

Return Window

We have a 30-day return policy. You have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. To be eligible, your item must be unopened, unused, in its original packaging, and accompanied by your receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, contact us at sales@graftonliquor.co.nz. We'll review your request and provide instructions on how to send your item back. Items returned without prior approval will not be accepted.

Change of Mind Returns

Changed your mind? No problem — we accept returns within 30 days provided the item is unopened and in its original condition.

 

Please note:

  • Store credit will be issued — we do not offer cash refunds for change-of-mind returns

  • Store credit can be used toward any future purchase at Grafton Liquor

  • Opened or partially consumed bottles cannot be returned

  • Sale items and gift cards are not eligible for return

Damaged, Faulty or Incorrect Items

Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives. If your item is damaged, faulty, or incorrect, contact us immediately at sales@graftonliquor.co.nz with your order details and photos where possible.

In accordance with the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act (CGA):

  • For serious faults — you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or full refund of your choice

  • For minor faults — we will assess and offer a repair or replacement in the first instance

  • Approved refunds will be returned to your original payment method. Please allow a few business days for your bank or card provider to process the refund

Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned under any circumstances:

  • Opened or partially consumed bottles

  • Perishable goods

  • Custom or personalized orders

  • Sale items and gift cards

  • Items where delivery was refused due to failed age verification

Exchanges

We accept exchanges for unopened items within 30 days. To request an exchange, contact us at sales@graftonliquor.co.nz. Once your return is approved and received, select your replacement item. Any price difference will be charged or credited accordingly.
